Mysterious Baltic Sea Object analyzed so far – Sept 23, 2012

Jonesing for the latest Baltic Anomaly update?  Me too!  The Truth Behind The Scenes:

Swedish seafaring treasure hunters Ocean X Team made headlines last year with the accidental discovery of a mysterious circular object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea.


Now, thanks to more exploration and a laboratory analysis of stones on and around the object, they’re a step closer to lifting the veil on the mystery.

The stones that lay on the object turned out to be red granite which came with the ice age. Dennis Åsberg’s theory is when the ice melted, the stones landed on the object.That would mean it should have been there more than 140 000 years.

Recent examination of the object has revealed a hole about two meters in diameter and that the object is not anchored to the ground.

Dennis Åsberg: ”We have discovered that the object is separated from the ocean floor it’s laying on a ridge, we’ve investigated the object with the ROV robot and looked at the object from below. One can see that the bottom and the object is separated. ”

The material of the object is too hard, so it has not been possible to remove anything from it yet, says Dennis.

But they have managed to bring up some stones that have been on and around the anomaly for analysis.

The team have also found many black magma-like stones at the site.

The theory is that the object must have been at a very high temperature at some point. This caused stones in its vicinity to become charred.

Dennis Åsberg: ”As I see it, when we’ve been and looked at it, it looks really strange to me, it looks like something is designed, in that we have these angles, 90 degree angles, the aisles of the object.”

Dennis hopes that their next expedition will be in spring when the frigid Nordic weather has improved.

Latest WuJo From Clif High

In Clif's podcast, he describes a bit of the already-present and upcoming (various!) complexities of life here on Earth in the upcoming nine months.  He's certain it's gonna get hairy, so don't say you weren't warned.  The good news?  The closer we get to whatever this is, there does to be more optimisim expressed within the data Clif is processing.  Hope for humanity type optimisim.  This is heartening, as more people seem to be waking up.  And not a moment too soon!

Louisiana sinkhole saltier the deeper it gets

I have no idea what this means.  At least one conspiritard thinks Assumption Parish is sinking into the Gulf.  I'm sure Roland Emmerich would like that, but probably not.  One way or the other, the hole's still getting bigger..  The Examiner.

The giant Louisiana sinkhole’s water is far saltier the deeper the hole gets, state environmental regulators said Monday.


“Salinity estimates based on water samples taken earlier this month from a large sinkhole in northern Assumption Parish suggest the water becomes far saltier, even more than in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the deeper the hole gets, state environmental regulators said Monday,” reports David Mitchell for The Advocate.

Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality officials said those test results are pending might indicate the source of the sinkhole water.

“We should be getting it this week,” Chris Piehler, DEQ Inspection Division administrator said Monday.

The expanding sinkhole is now approximately 427 feet deep, less than 300 feet from the top of Texas Brine's salt cavern that stretches down another 2,800 feet in the Napoleonville Salt Dome. Officials say they expect the sinkhole to continue growing.

It's always something with those Cajuns and their sinking land, right?

The Calm Before The Tectonic Storm?

Have you noticed a lack of 7.0 + magnitude earthquakes recently?  According to this poster at GLP,  the planet averages at least one earthquake a month that strong or stronger, and the USGS hasn't listed a 7 or higher eq since April 11.  Have we cured earthquakes? 

Maybe the plates are locked..  Maybe that's not such a good thing.  What event will change this static dynamic, and how explosive will it be?
