The beginning of the Fourth night of the Ninth Wave

Written back on July 13th, Calleman's analysis predicted the Fifth Day of the Mayan Ninth Wave would produce a global economic collapse.  I'm not saying anything more will happen from now until August 17th, when the Fifth Night begins, but don't be surprised if this does indeed happen, as momentum around the world continues to build.  First, excerpts from Calleman's article:

A couple of months ago I expressed my expectation that the Fifth day, beginning on July 31, 2011, will bring a global economic collapse, which would be the start of this end time scenario. What is going on now in this regard is that the European banks is still trying to find a solution for the Greek debt crisis by the end of July and a few days later, August 2, the decision will be made in the US whether to raise the lending ceiling or not. Meanwhile, increasing focus is placed on Italy, whose national debt in relationship to its GDP is almost as high (120%) as that of Greece (140%), but whose economy is seven times larger with correspondingly much larger potential consequences of a default on debt payments. A very delicate situation is thus already arising at the beginning of the fifth day and it remains to be seen if more money can be printed to avert a collapse.

Because it could be so painful a global financial collapse would seem to many to be a destructive event and hence not likely to occur in a period of light, a day. The economic system of the world is however probably the greatest obstacle to the development of unity consciousness that exists on our planet. I think it can even be said that a collapse of the world’s financial structure is a pre-requisite for us to be able to craft relationships of oneness between ourselves. For this reason it is not unlikely that such a collapse would occur in a day and then especially in the fifth day, which is the particular day that in the waves brings the breakthrough energy to the new frame of consciousness. Unity consciousness is thus likely to be perceived as a threat to many persons in economically dominant positions and this is part of the reason that so powerful media interests have sought to delude people about the Mayan calendar and postpone its true end date, October 28, 2011.

5+ Sieverts An Hour Found On Reactor 1 Second Floor  From Ex-SKF via Rense.  Excerpts:

TEPCO announced on August 2 that the radiation level in the air conditioning room on the 2nd floor of the reactor building of Reactor 1 was over 5 sieverts/hr (or 5,000 millisieverts/hr). It is the highest indoor radiation ever recorded at the plant, higher than 4 sieverts/hr recorded also in the Reactor 1 reactor building on June 3. TEPCO closed off the room.

The vent duct that releases pressure inside the Containment vessel and the emergency gas processing pipe meet inside the room, which is upstream from the main exhaust stack where over 10 sieverts/hr radiation was measured on August 1. According to TEPCO, it is possible that the high concentration of radioactive materials got stuck inside the pipes when the venting was done on the next day after the March 11 earthquake.

Fatal Radiation Level Found at Japanese Plant  New York Times via Godlike Productions.  Excerpts:

The operator, Tokyo Electric Power, said that workers on Monday afternoon had found an area near Reactors No. 1 and 2, where radiation levels exceeded their measuring device’s maximum reading of 10 sieverts per hour — a fatal dose for humans.

The company said the workers who found the reading were safely protected by antiradiation clothing. Tokyo Electric said it has closed off an area of several yards around where the lethal radiation level was found. The company said this would not hamper efforts to build a new cooling system and remove contaminated water.

The plant has continued to spew radiation since the disaster, though levels have been dropping. The operator is working to install a new makeshift cooling system by early next year that will allow it to finally shut down the plant’s three damaged reactors.

92 Percent of Newt Gingrich's 1.3 Million Twitter Followers Are Fake  Big fuckin' surprise coming from a big fuckin' douche, no?  Excerpts:

More than 90% of presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's approximately 1.3 million Twitter followers are either spambots or accounts not demonstrably connected to real people, an analysis by the web firm PeekYou found.

Gingrich boasted recently that his substantial number of followers eclipsed his rivals for the Republican nomination, a surprising feat for a man whose campaign appeared to be collapsing as prominent aides and fundraisers fled en masse. Gawker followed up on the story with a former Gingrich staffer who charged that Gingrich had employed various web agencies to purchase inactive or decoy accounts and build an illusion of a massive online following.

..PeekYou had, by coincidence, been conducting a project on measuring Twitter audiences that included crunching data on presidential candidates. The Gawker post led researchers to reexamine data they had compiled on Gingrich and find that "a huge majority of his followers are either completely anonymous people who have no other web presence, or they are spambots," according to general manager of business and product development Josh Mackey.

This dude practically shits Family Values.  I'm sorry he won't get the nomination, but I'm really hoping that he's still got enough lies in him to finance his "candidacy" through December.  2011 needs more laffs, and Gingrich is the man to deliver those laffs.

UFO Over Brazil: True or False? (Video)

A tad rhetorical, as their answer is "true."  Great video.  Excerpts:

On the night of July 23 and the morning of July 24, a revolving UFO was spotted above Embu São Paulo, Brazil, according to footage posted on YouTube.

According to Projeto Quartzo Azul, a Brazilian UFO website, there were multiple witnesses on the scene—some took photos and others shot videos. The YouTube video includes footage from four different witnesses.

The object has a blue light at its center, surrounded by a circle of flashing white lights with smaller faint red ones between them.

It spins in a clockwise direction and appears to shoot out fire around one minute into the video. When filmed from the side on, the UFO has a blue glow.

Strange Animal Found in Juneau County

From WSAW(Southern Wisconsin) via Rense.  Excerpts:

"It's completely hairless, almost like leather. It has a canine like head, a fox or dog type head. The rear legs are coon-like. The tail is almost like an opossum," Potter explains.

Potter, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, told reporters he is left speechless.

He found it dead on Monday.

But Potter is not the only one that has seen this strange creature.

Two months ago Chuck Huschka saw it alive.

Huschka says, "At first, I just thought it was a small piglet. But it was definitely the animal."
