WTF? Obama's birth certificate a fraud?

Oh.. The Kenyan one. Total FAIL. Problem is, the people who need to see this, won't. For fuck's sake, people: If you don't like Obama, find a sane way to express it. Your collective craziness is really stinkin' up the country.

Maybe it needs to be said again..

Soon
"Out of the island, into the highway; past the places where you might have turned…"
-Vertical Horizon, "Everything you want."

A major part of growing up is learning to accept the fact that when something is gone, it’s gone. Job, old love, period of time, etc.

It’s over. Now move on.

The other part of the equation is learning to accept and embrace the circumstances and blessings of your present situation. Here you can stay. Because, after all, this is where you are. And this is where you belong.

I guess now I belong in Branson – again.

Posted by Lance at 9:44 AM

When I wrote this in 1995, my life was very different than now; less stable, less sure, less faith in the patterns of the universe. My confusion made life less than it could have been. But no, not really, as that period, easily the worst of my life, is the reason I am what I've become today. Devastating circumstances can strengthen as well as destroy. Don't forget that.

But these things take time. They take introspection. They take work. But mostly, they take patience; with others, with yourself. If you're in the middle of your own devastating circumstance, you might not believe things will ever get better. But believe me, they can. If you try.. So please try.

Be strong. We need you.

Baja Earthquake

I'll let George Ure from Urban Survival explain why I'll be watching this closely..

"You're welcome to be as skeptical of our rickety time machine as you want, but if you would so kind as to click back to last week's Friday report here and scroll on down to where I told you...
"We should get a good hint whether that's still on tap since there's a temporal marker due August 3/4 with a largish earthquake (+/- a couple of days). What I'll be looking for will be something in the 6.5 in a populated area to a 7.0+ in an unpopulated area and decent headlining or maybe tsunami warnings. We shall see, non? "
And once you recall what I told you last Friday based on the predictive linguistics work of
www.halfpasthuman.com, you will want to click over to the Reuters story about the 6.9 earthquake that just happened off Baja California.

Two important items: One: We should get another quake, possibly similar in size tomorrow (odds on that are relatively high) and since this is one of the temporal markers the time monks have been pointing to as 'notice this marker because if it hits, then it's 'game on' for the derivatives visibility showing up on or about August 22.

Don't say no one mentioned it to you in advance. We may not have more than two dimes to rub together, but we do own something of increasingly higher value: The future."

I read the latest Webbot report. Really tense, really evil, Really, Really scary. And, of course, I hope it's wrong.. about everything. Tomorrow, though, is a different picture. Let's see what develops.

Lohan gets a DWI: Worldwide press coverage. The former Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. is arrested for a "failed coup," and AGAIN, crickets..

Seems like a mighty big story to me. Why, oh why is there no coverage? Will we ever be able to trust our Muslim-controlled press?

Bailout 101

Xymphora finds a concise little article explaining the mechanics of The Bailout on a micro-economic level: One massively overpaid oil speculator(whose actions might have (read, probably did..) helped spike oil prices in 2008) that will receive a $100 Million Dollar B*O*N*U*S for profiting from spiking oil prices in 2008! (And yes, the repeat language was intentional..) Bonus? That fuckin' guy (and all his ilk) should be charged two dollars a gallon for every gallon sold to everyone in the U.S. for the entire year! Market manipulation effects all consumers, and future(if there ever is any--which is doubtful..) legislation should mirror those serious implications.

"Too big to fail," is turning into "Too big to regulate." and "Too big to give a shit about anything but the corporate bottom line."

Too bad for us.

Super Water Kills Bugs Dead

Wow! Somebody give these people shitloads of money to mass produce this stuff, please! Maybe the health care industry will give hydrogen peroxide therapy another look? Will they? No. Not likely.

What the What?

"8 Cartoon Characters That Probably Have Syphilis." Sounds like something I'd write if I had Syphilis..

I expect to see more of this in the future..

Poor John Woo just wants to teach and forget about all that nasty torture business, but people won't let him.. If Obama won't prosecute these criminals, maybe the people should give them no peace, drive them insane, and let what's left of their conscience(es) prosecute themselves for us. Cheaper, and probably much more effective!

Please.. Get the fuck over it, already!

Obama's a citizen, or McCain's people would have SATURATED THE WORLD with information proving otherwise! Not that they didn't look.. But, of course, the Birthers won't be satisfied.. Not that they want to know about how we got into this gigantic shithole of a mess that previous Dear Leader dug for us.. That might take a little homework, as that's not the information that Fox News and Junkie Pig like to provide.

It really seems to go back to "I don't like the looks of that colored guy," without being able to say as much. Which is too bad, because if they could get off their racist asses, they'd probably find many more policy issues to debate, and have much more credibility debating them.

File Under: Earthquakes. Tag: Global Coastal Event

Three big-ass earthquakes off the eastern coast of Australia.. Magnitude 7.9 (two times) and 8.0 all within the same (relative) area is definitely worth noting. The site linked to is the English language Bulgarian National Seismological Data Centre. Neato, right? I so love the Internet..

Doom, Astrolgy Style..

Off planet scariness involving last week's meteor hit on Jupiter, an ongoing triple conjunction(that's where astrology comes in)of Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron, and possible incoming asteroids to our neck of the solar system! Thrills and chills courtesy of an order of Russian nuns (named "The Order of Sorcha Faal.") who may or may not be a man named David Booth.

Tasty.

Doubleplusungood, or Books one, Kindle Sucks..

Here's a little something so Orwellian, ironic, and stupid! Really? Did Amazon think no one would pick up on them deleting 1984? Remotely(!) banning an e-book about (among other things) historical revisionism after people already bought and paid for it? I just conducted a seance to speak with Orwell, and his message was, "I told you so, folks." and "Fuck you, Amazon.." Not my words.. Orwell. Me? I love Big Brother!

What's Roseanne been up to?

Recently, someone asked me what Roseanne Barr has been doing since Roseanne went off the air(has it really been 12 years?). Short answer? Becoming very political.. And here.. Roseanne's never been one to shy away from controversy, and without the national spotlight on her every move, she's free to really tell it like it is..

Love her or hate her, she has the courage to speak her mind, thank God..

Global Coastal Event Coming to a Planet Near You..

Above Normal Tides on East Coast: No Explanation. The catastrophic hits get bigger as we get closer to the End! Now, on with The Countdown! The poster linked to Urban Survival's connection of this story to the much larger, much doomier, Global Coastal Event(as predicted by the Webbots. Check out Clif's interview on Rense Radio..). This Event, which, if true to its name, will effect Coasts, Globally.

And again, no explanations as to Why this happened..

Speaking of Weather..

Brilliant independent weatherman Kevin Martin is posting again at my favorite conspiracy forum. The comments, for this thread anyway, were so far, overwhelmingly positive. Kevin's forecasts differ from mainstream sources due to his use of long term pattern forecasting software and from his knowledge and application of micro climates in his predictions. Previously, for some reason I've never understood, whenever he would post severe weather forecasts, debunkers would immediately respond, and immediately respond with personal attacks. Sometimes Kevin would get angry, and lose focus of his original intent. Which was a shame, as his tornado reports were pretty spot on relative to the region predicted. He's been banned at least once for fighting, came back, quit posting all together, and now is back.

Me? I'm glad. I followed his posts closely, and his predictions(made from Southern California) were far more accurate for the South Western Missouri area than our local meteorologists. He's colorful, pugnacious(he can totally articulate his temper), unapologetic, loves what he does, and seems genuine in his desire to help others through the best forecasts he can provide.

Kevin Martin: Meteorologist of the Future, and all around Righteous Dude..

File Under: Global Atmospheric Change

This feels like an out-take from the beginning of The Day After Tomorrow. Once again, nobody seems to have anything conclusive to offer. Theories competing with theories, but nobody knows for sure. Portent-of-doom paragraphs:

Instead, Wickwar’s explanation is that a vertical atmospheric wave discovered in their LIDAR data lowered the temperature in the region above their radar installation near Logan, Utah. But then you have to ask, he noted, “Where’d the wave come from?”

and

The recent observations of noctilucent clouds at all kinds of latitudes provide an extra impetus to understand what is going on up there. Changes are occurring faster than scientists can understand their causes. “I suspect, as many of us feel, that it is global change, but I fear we don’t understand it,” Wickwar said. “It’s not as simple as a temperature change.”

My gut says "Uh-oh.."

Strange Story of the Day, or "Let X=X."

I was cruising around Fark earlier, looking for a strange human interest story to throw out there, and came upon this doozy.. "Amputee hops around Wendy's pointing a gun at employees because they forgot his straw. Then it gets wierd(sp.)." Imagine my surprise when the story appeared on the website of the local ABC affiliate, KSPR. Not really. No surprise there..
Of course this happened in the Ozarks..

Again; The Solution! This Time with Official Numbers

It's right there in front of you, folks.. California, will you economically Fall at the hands of those who violently insist they know the "Prince of Peace," or will you Rise with the Plant created by Our Creator? Hint: Vote "Spiritual," not "Religious."

Bad Omen

This sucks. Wayne County is Detroit, so.. this should be horrible to watch when it spirals downward, out of control..

This doesn't help, either. Where's the money going to come from to fix this bridge? This portion of I-75 is traveled on over 160,000 times a day. The detours will be chaos, I'm sure. Michigan feels bleak, even more than before..

More Alaska Weirdness

This time it's goo. When did Alaska turn into Florida?

Turmeric As Wonder Drug

Long, but worth-it article here. Worried about cancer(prostate, colon, lung)? What about Alzheimer's? Cholesterol? Rheumatoid Arthritis? General inflammation issues? Turmeric(or its active ingredient Curcumin) can help!

Maybe, of course.. Maybe it can help. The authors make a pretty convincing argument that Turmeric/Curcumin could help A Lot of people without ever making that specific argument. (Paragraph added in a later edit, 7/17).

While I've taken Curcumin for over three years now, I've never tried this particular brand before. But I will. Certificate of Analysis? Quality Guarantee? These people are Serious..

Latest from Goro..

After reading Goro Adachi for more than five years, I've got, maybe, a grasp on how to explain his concept of "Synchronistic Mysticism." In the Symbolic Universe, every Person/Place/Thing is assigned some value/meaning just.. by being. Each object then can be grouped with other objects that relate in some way with yet more objects larger in symbolic value. For example.. "Pollution" is much larger in value than say, "trash can," "gum wrapper," "oil spill," or "carcass," but those words can all be symbolically linked to "pollution."

"Piles" of Symbols then become larger when more related words are added. Visualize an empty room with piles of blocks grouped together. Each block is a symbol, and the sum of each pile is the larger symbol. Then, connections between the larger groups of symbols will occur, and more connections within the group will begin to appear. Meaning is derived from the interpretation of these connections of smaller to larger related events, and connections between different, larger archetypes. I didn't say it was a simple explanation..

So a portion of Goro's process must involve scanning world events constantly in order to develop each relevant symbolic theme as fully as possible. I understand that he does what he does, and somehow these multicontextural wonders appear, what I still don't understand(and probably never will) is HOW he does it. How can he sift through, then synthesize the massive amount of information required to connect the events(past), occurrences(future), people, and things in the manner in which he does connect them? Featured in this article: Planetary positions around the sun, Princess Diana, the State of Indiana, Michael Jackson, Paris, the April earthquake in Italy, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Prince William, Janet Jackson's "Nipplegate," and Nickelback(!).

Intrigued? You should be. It's a long, confusing read(all the articles are), but if you dig it, you will be hooked..

Luc Arbogast: Man, or Something Else?

Listen to him sing, and tell me if that's not too far off.. Otherworldly talent paired with unapologetic individuality(just look at him!): Is he for real? He's my nominee for Coolest Freak of the New Millennium..

He's also my hope for this new Millennium: Amazing occurrences from unlikely sources..

Brian Killmeade doesn't know much, and he loves to tell you so.

What the deuce, man? Genetic homogeny in Sweden and Finland exists, but "marrying other species."? That's as artful and nuanced as ya' got? I know it's Fox, but who the fuck hired this guy? Stay on the script man, stay on the script!

New Land Forming in Alaska..

Oh my. It's a little worrisome that no one seems to know why this happened, just that it did.. Along with massive underwater rock slide, think underwater volcanic activity or expanding earth. These people did. (I really like that forum, by the way - weirdos, freaks, idiots, and smart people all chatting away, each thread as vulgar as it is entertaining as it is amazing. And there's always more threads!) Whatever this was, is not cool. A Lot of energy was released with amazing subtlety, and there is no conventional explanation for this occurrence!

I'll be watching this one..

Crop Circle/Solar Storm Update - 7/9

Big ol' blast to our Magnetosphere happening right now.. Solar activity is up, and while the crop circle predictions didn't exactly come true, they did herald an approximate time marking the beginning of festivities.. Maybe.. the messages themselves were interpreted almost perfectly, but not. The answer would be close, but not correct, right? So.. would that be the fault of the messenger, or the fault of the human interpretation?

The Webbot Project

Clif's got a blog site! Listen to any audio clip for an overview of the project, and what might be happening in the not so near future.. Hang on, things might be gettin' a little hairy the next four or so years. Keywords for doom-preppers: Canned goods. Silver. Self-sufficient.

But things aren't all bad.. According to the webbots, after the world(all will be effected) moves through the upcoming (possibly multiple/cataclysmic/simultaneous) "unpleasantness," circumstances will improve world-wide. Advances in electrics, steps toward "contact," new ways of living, and a new global humanity are also mentioned as future scenarios. And not all of us will be dead, so that's good, too, right?

Why Palin Resigned

Because of its timing, Sarah Palin's surprise resignation from the position of Alaska Governor was instantly suspicious. Called the "Friday afternoon news dump," crappy or Holy Crap! news is announced late in the day on any normal Friday. By doing this, there's a chance that whatever bad, inevitable announcements were made Friday will be forgotten by Monday. Then, when reporters follow up on Monday, spokesmen can claim that the story is "old news," and has "already been covered." The network news organizations shift their programming cycles Friday evening until early Monday from live news and programs to News Documentary and special programming, so any Friday would have been good, but the announcement before the Fourth of July holiday weekend will be, although suspicious as hell, the best Palin could do, and probably the most/last quiet she'll have for some time. You see, Sarah might be in some trouble..

Here's the Roundup:

Raw Story's got a pretty good overview here. An Idiot's perspective at Red State here. Did you know the media "ritualistically engage(s) in the metaphorical gang raping of conservative politicians, particularly those who are female and have children."? Hysterical metaphorical hyperbole, much? But dumb people seem to respond to that sort of thing, so I'm sure Red State and Fox News and The Weekly Standard won't be changing their story styles anytime soon.

Rumors had been circulating about Palin's potential ethical problems since before the election, and The Village Voice ran this article in early October, but the story didn't have "legs," and quickly cycled out. Or maybe it was just filed away, for use at another time.. But people still wrote about it.. Then, Vanity Fair's article came out last week, and shortly after, Palin's surprise, rambling resignation speech. And, by the way, elected officials aren't "lame ducks" in their first term, period. It's specific to second terms, or to a Governor or President whose party is in the legislative minority. Does this woman understand anything about political office?

This is not over, I'm sure. Maybe none of this is the real reason for Friday's quick turn of events. Only Palin knows for sure. And soon, we'll all know more. After all, Labor Day is seven weeks away..

A P.S.. Goro Adachi's scary theory on Palin, using his brand of "Synchronistic Mysticism," written last November. If he's right, God help us all..

"Hey! Hey! I'm still talking, here.."

Kim wants the world's attention back from Michael Jackson. I'm less flip about the issue than the last statement implies. North Korea is China's proxy-bully-state. I hope we factor that information into future strategies..

Thanks again, Science..

Is Swine flu really just a lesson in the consequences of "Bad-Lab Caution?"

"Unknown object quickly approaching the sun"

This thread kinda caught my eye.. Replies four and five are pretty interesting.

Larger thread from a different forum here. And here's another..

Might this be connected somehow?

Two latest crop circles, as of July 2.

What does this all mean? Maybe this.

Enjoy your weekend, folks.

Rush Limbaugh is loonier than Daffy Duck and Carrie Prejan(combined!)..

when they're eating Oxycontin by the handful, waving guns around, hanging out at Sarah Palin's house, shooting at random children and defenseless animals. Yeah, he's that crazy! His antics might be funny if they weren't accepted and believed by a legion of middle-aged and elderly brain dead zombies..

Thanks, Ed, for breaking his rationale down into tiny, digestible, stupid chunks. Mad, mad, mad as the fuckin' Hatter, Rush is..

You must be This Old to ride this ride..(Revised)

Great article on the cultural significance of Farrah and Michael to Generation X. Most everything that needs to be covered, is. These larger than life personalities that we grew up with, who seemed too famous to ever die, have died. The thoughts and questions that many of my generation will now be thinking(some will articulate, others will not, of course..) include these three points:
What have I done with my life?
Where am I headed?
I am aging.

These thoughts don't relate to the deaths of Michael and Farrah specifically, except that their deaths brought them about by simply occurring. As our generation continues to age, there will be other celebrity icons that die, and succeeding generations will wonder why these people are also mourned with more intensity than they would mourn the passing of one of theirs(ex: Heath Ledger was tragic, but the outpouring of emotion isn't even close to the same). Before cultural fragmentation(Media access was approximately 3 to 5 television channels per town or city, one or two radio stations per area(rural) to ten to twenty(city/urban) one, two, or three newspapers per town and upwards of fifteen relevant magazines nationally), everyone had the same entertainment, so everyone had the same celebrities. You might not have liked them, but you knew who they were. And they were everywhere!

Twelve million people bought Farrah's poster in 1976. The country's population was just over 218 million people. Presuming most of the people who bought the poster were Americans, That's One Person for Every Nineteen in the Country. That will NEVER happen again. Whether you loved The Poster or not, you had seen it. Between "Charley's Angels", Wella Balsam, the Bathing Suit, and Lee Majors, she was It. In 1976 Everyone knew of Farrah Fawcett. In 1976, Everyone You Knew knew of Farrah Fawcett.

Farrah Fawcett Owned the late 70's,

Thriller sold over 25 million copies worldwide. That feat has never been surpassed, and nor is it likely. Bad was considered a disappointment because it only sold eight million copies! Check out his other stats. There is no artist living today unifying enough to sell 25 million copies (66 million worldwide - Now) of any one record, let alone dominate multiple musical formats for years at a time. Not that there aren't supremely talented people out there, they just can't be singled out easily in the daily cacophony of society's Entertainment Bombardment. Cultural Fragmentation(Short, Short Definition: Too many entertainment choices) has seen to that.

These people were, at times, during an impressionable time, a part of our daily entertainment diet. We were children and teenagers then. Now we are adults, and now they are dead. They are the first of What's To Come, for All Of Us.

So now, most of us.. we revisit our childhoods, and then, we wonder where the future will lead, both individually and collectively. And there are, for many, the beginnings of realizations about themselves, in one form or another. We're now the age we made fun of when we were young. Weird, huh? I hope, as a generation, what we find about ourselves when we look inward leads to wisdom or happiness. I hope, that with the passing of two people most of us had never met and didn't really know(yet were so ingrained within our childhood memories), they could leave us just one more gift: a little more self understanding than we had before..

So thank you, Michael, and thank you Farrah, for some of the smiles I smiled as a child, and for your part in the memories I have from that time. It was.. nice to look back.

Now, about the future..

Argen-fn-tina?

Governor Sanford left the CONTINENT for an affair? Yeah.. I don't fully buy this, either. This, if true, easily makes the top five "I-had-to-see-you-now-take-off-your-clothes" moments in political history(King Eward VIII and Wallis Simpson still remain at number one. When you give up the Crown of England for love, you're hooked!), but it's still hinky. Sanford, his wife, his staff, the media, his supporters, none of them, has a shred of credibility left in the areas of honesty, judgement, or non-gullibility. They all passed on the Official Story, and asked no follow up questions. Or they were willing participants in The Lie. The whole event seems to be getting clumsier by the hour.

Some major points I don't understand:
*Up until last week, he still had passion for his job(Fighting the Stimulus; suing the government). What happened? Is he really that naive to think his erratic behavior wouldn't cause people to talk?
*Did he really have to go see her? She couldn't have flown to South Carolina, allowing him to stay off radar?
*The State newspaper had incriminating emails for almost eight months and didn't follow up? Would they have been a bit quicker if Sanford had a (*D) behind his name? Would they have been quicker if these emails had really existed in December and they really had received them then?(Pure speculation and conspiracy talk on my part--no proof whatsoever..)
*If he resigns, will Bauer follow through with Sanford's suit against the government?
*Sanford's biggest attacks came from within his party: Lt. Governor Andre Bauer and State Senator Jake Knotts talked to anybody with a microphone, as much as they could. They seemed to work in tandem, and whether or not they actually were, their criticisms felt very co-ordinated. Very co-ordinated.

The reason this story fascinates me is not the affair. Voyeuristic, judgemental Christians are the ones hung up on this angle. People make bad decisions when their genitals are involved, but that shouldn't disqualify them from public policy making. My interest lies in the oh-so complete career demolition of a"successful"(well liked/appropriately conservative in a super Red State) Governor and future presidential hopeful, riding a tsunami of collapsing lies and attacks from within his own inner sanctum. And the explanations(to explain the previous explanations that were actually lies)still don't feel right to me.

So, for the third post in a row, let me include:

"Everything is fine. Guhhhhhhhhh.. Everything is fine. Guhhhhhhhhh.."

Hear that? That's the sound

of crickets being squashed by the Tuesday afternoon press corps stampede. They picked up on the circus-like aspects of the Sanford Disappearance(And in a very consistent style..), but seem to skim or miss the intriguing , troubling (and this one still troubles me) points to this story, and each new tidbit of information or statement creates more loose ends than it solves. Hmm..

Leave it to the nuns to come up with the creepiest theory of them all..

Everything is fine; guhhhhhhhhhh.. Everything is fine; guhhhhhhhhhhh..

Wall to wall HLN coverage for Kaylee, but crickets when a GOVERNOR goes missing..

Are you kidding me? Politico has an update(included in the previous link), stating the Governor's spokesman said Sanford was hiking in the Appalachians, presumably far, far away from the stench of this total-pile-of-horse-shit excuse. To those without Sanford's history, hiking in the mountains and writing a book or article (according to the First Lady, "to write something.." -- a much too general statement, implying the First Lady to Really Does Not Know what her husband is up to? Also, as pointed out here, Family Man Sanford's going to leave his wife and family to hike and write on Father's Day Weekend? ), might work if you completely ignore the fact he's suing the Federal Government over being forced to accept Stimulus money! And that he filed the necessary papers the day before he disappeared? Whatever the real reason is(and we might not ever know..), the excuse doesn't fly at all, period.

Some other possibilities:

*Vice - (Outside shot, not likely, although yet another Republican morals scandal would be sweet)
*Republican party strategery - (More likely, as he's the visible point man on a judicial attack on Obama's policies for the coming months, he will continue to gain visibility in the coming months and years. If the Republican gamble of saying "No" to the Stimulus succeeds and the Democrats fail miserably, he could be The Man in 2012. A Sanford/Palin ticket is a creepy-ass prospect, indeed.. )
*South Carolina strategery(and yeah, this is a strategy/treachery combo word. I like it, but didn't make it up..) - (Possible, but not likely. Sanford and his Lt. Governor don't like each other (to put it mildly), but Sanford's out of office in 2010, and it doesn't seem like he should care that much to go scheming out of state.)
*NWO treachery - (Fomenting civil discontent and federal destabilization--maybe.)
*Anti-NWO treachery - (Fomenting civil discontent and federal destabilization--maybe.)
*He's really a spy. - (Again, maybe. For who or what, I don't know. Governmental back channel organization is a structure with which I'm not familiar. But there were these quotes: "Neither the governor’s office nor the State Law Enforcement Division, which provides security for governors, has been able to reach Sanford after he left the mansion in a black SLED Suburban SUV, said Sen. Jake Knotts and three others familiar with the situation but who declined to be identified.
Sanford’s last known whereabouts were near Atlanta, where a mobile telephone tower picked up a signal from his phone, authorities said."
)
And
"Chief Lloyd confirmed that my information is legitimate," Knotts said in a statement released early in the afternoon. "He shared my concerns" about succession of power in Sanford’s absence, the Lexington Republican said.
"I was recently made aware that Governor Sanford has frequently been eluding SLED agents and disappearing at odd times," Knotts said.
"As the head of our state, in the unfortunate event of a state of emergency or homeland security situation, Governor Sanford should be available at all times to the chief of SLED," the senator said."

*He's really Jack Bauer. - (Not likely, but that's not to say that maybe Sanford fantasizes he's Jack Bauer. It seems to be a consistent fantasy scenario favorite for Republicans everywhere, so why should the Governor be any different? Dovetails nicely with "Being kidnapped by terrorists/being tortured for information regarding Myrtle Beach.")
*Murdered; Replaced by a clone or robot - (Not likely, but if Sanford returns, holds a press conference, and keeps repeating "everything is fine, guhhhhhhhhhh, everything is fine, guhhhhhhhhhhh," then we'll re-visit this thought. Nice visual though, right?)

More scenarios from godlike. All this intrigue, and not a peep from any major media outlet. I wonder what that means..

Summer Soltice, Cancer New Moon

Barbara Hand Clow breaks it down nicely in her Astroflash column. Scroll down to "Summer Solstice: June 21, 2009." These are the energies in play for the summer months. Awareness of said energies allows easier movement through the cross current of events that play out in each of our lives, every day.

When it ain't yer time, it ain't yer time..

What a disaster this could have been! Take a look at the pictures, then be astounded by the low number of casualties. Amazing..

Awesome! Society's guilty of all seven!

Another great post from Robert Wilkinson at Aquarius Papers. Einstein's right; I was born within 20 years of Gandhi's death and I scarcely believe someone this evolved walked the earth. Rationally, I know he did, but life on earth certainly doesn't feel that way. It's hard to believe that we've fallen so far, devolved so quickly, in the 60 plus years he's been gone.

While our global situation is dire, it is not ir-reversible. Not yet, anyway..

Jupiter Retrograde in Aquarius, June, 2009

Wow! Does this resonate with anyone else? Robert Wilkinson knows his stuff, and writes about it well. He's thorough, entertaining, and never condescending. Great reading for anyone interested in Astrology. Bookmark it here.

Dear God; don't eat the fries!

Well, fuck. I really hope this isn't true.. If you haven't been to What Does It Mean before, the headlines will tell you all you need to know. Some of the events they've forecasted have come true. Some haven't. Always an interesting read, though.

The Power of One..

I wasn't intending to post tonight, but after running across this amazingly.. joyful video, I felt compelled. (Via, godlikeproductions, of course.) It starts with The Weird Dude at the outdoor festival dancing alone. He's awkward and a really bad dancer, but there's something about his energy that works its magic on the crowd. He's unashamedly a freak, and he doesn't care who knows it. He dances with no inhibition and the primitive, rarely accessed chord that lives in everyone just.. resonated.

The event breaks down into interesting increments, and you can actually witness the change in energy dynamic by watching the timer while watching the video. In the first minute, he's joined by another man and then another, but the energy is essentially just him. At 1:12, the video changes dynamic with the arrival of the first group of people, and critical mass has begun. By 1:20, the mass of the group's combined enthusiasm becomes apparent, and everyone can tell that something is happening..

Between 1:20 and almost 2 minutes, the crowd, the enthusiasm, and the energy grows quickly, with people actively running to join this moment they're all witnessing. At almost exactly the 2 minute mark, the event blooms, and most people within the camera's view are participating. Almost everyone in sight is completely transfixed by, or involved with this energy, this sequence, begun by One Man. And everyone knows it! At 2:52, a girl asks, "How did he do that? How did he do that?" At 3:01, a man says "That one guy.. started the whole dance party!" And then, the video ends. Total running time: 3:06! I'm still smiling after watching the video three times.

Aside from the linear breakdown, this video is amazing on a number of levels. It's great feel-good entertainment(weirdo starts dance frenzy), it illustrates the 100th monkey effect(true or not, a variant happened here), the viewer is witness to someone At Play, there's a giant conglomeration of Happy, Aquarian Energy, and we all can see a glimpse into the power that one person can have by positively influencing the world and events surrounding them. Please watch the video, and the smiles will come.

Keep on dancin', weird dude. I'm glad you're here, and thanks for the charge.

Big words and concepts

Abound here. The laboratory process set-up made my eyes glaze over, but overall, a pretty good article. I hate to cut and paste, but here's the money paragraph:

The research, described in the June 4 issue of Nature, involves a bizarre intertwining between two pairs of vibrating ions (charged atoms) such that the pairs vibrate in unison, even when separated in space. Each pair of ions behaves like two balls connected by a spring (see figure), vibrating back and forth in opposite directions. Familiar objects that vibrate this way include pendulums and violin strings.

Look around you. Could your interpersonal connections have a quantum connection? Are you "bonded" with your people? Are you "on the same wavelength?" Do you "vibe" with them?

"As above; so below," or more appropriately, "As below; so above."

Sweet

Dressed up, overdubbed, interactively scripted conspiracy theory about the Large Hadron Collider(LHC) ala The Matrix. Also included: Bible quotes, the Nephilim, Nibiru, the "debunking" of both the existence of the "God Particle" and the danger of black holes being created during LHC's working process, and of course, Star Gates.

Not even close to Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz, but a clever format for theory delivery.

I think this is pretty interesting

and more than a little bit troubling.. I'm not sure it's remotely enforceable, but it looks like they're going to try.

"Small," singled-out pronouncements like this disturb me. This is big news! Where are the networks? Where's the co-ordinated media blitz? ..But.. Wouldn't public knowledge of this bit of Space News freak at least a couple of people OUT? The whole process is too full of intrigue and senseless-ness to be fully kosher.

And it re-enforces the possibility that Crazy, Lying Nancy, may indeed, be correct. Woo-woo's everywhere would cheer! Then they would realize that this is bad news..

Who says banks aren't looking out for the "little guys?"

Holy freakin' Crap! Now, tell me again why blacks don't trust white-owned corporations?

The little boy returns..

Possibly.. El Nino's last "tantrum years" were 1997-98, the strongest El Nino ever recorded. Remember the landslides? Remember all those coastal California homes sliding down hills and sometimes into the ocean?

On top of everything else, here comes the rain, again..

Is it because they're tired of replacing your lost cell phones?

Why are cell phone companies researching the pineal gland? Short YouTube, just three and a half minutes. Check it out..

I heart aliens, especially if they're reading this right now..

After all, the invasion is imminent. Brazil seems to be the nexus. All this according to Top Secret Airspace, my new favorite blog. With paragraphs like this ("it appears a race in the nearby Andromeda Galaxy has 'discovered' us. These 'unmanned' surveillance discs have made their way home at some point and reported back on our existence. The floodgate has opened.
Let me predict: Sightings of UFOs by will be unprecedented over the next few weeks. We are at a minute to midnight in terms of ending our isolation. Open unilateral contact is months, weeks, days or even hours away."
), what's not to love?

Another favorite story here. With such a kick ass headline, why bother backing up (or even explaining) the claim? And no, it's not that I don't believe in the possibility of UFO's, I just want a little meat with my wildly speculative theories. But sometimes, I love the Weekly World News type prose that this guy(I'm assuming) writes sooo well! What do you think? Did God evaporate Air France flight 447?

Happy Birthday, Anderson Cooper!

CNN's ultimate news fox turned 42 today! Congratulations, and I hope he has many, many more birthdays to come! Personal note: Anderson, if you ever make it to Branson, stop by the corporate headquarters for your birthday gift! I, I mean, it, will be waiting!

New Solar Cycle prediction

Peaking May, 2013. It's supposed to be the mildest solar cycle since 1928. It's been two years since a big solar flare, so NASA's predictions are just that: predictions. We shall see. And if the web bots are correct, we shall see soon..

Link to Half Past Human.

Behold the Puke Ray!

I'll take this over a taser any day! Imagine, subduing a criminal with non-lethal force, AND making them vomit! Win/win!

Ya think?

Evangelical man says Christians owe gays an apology. For what? The shame, the abuse, the rejection and alienation, the destruction of their souls.. stuff like that. Thank you, Mr. Gushee. Now if you can convince the other 30 million of you to follow suit, maybe we could all concentrate on more important issues, like short and long term survival on the planet, maybe?

Maybe it's bad, maybe it's good..

Great find by Robert over at Aquarius Papers. Concise, illustrative story as to why it's important to flow with the events of your everyday and not assign a "good" or "bad" to events until a later, clearer time..

27 sightings for the year? I work with like, four, right now..

2009 Humanoid reports. That number does seem awfully low. I mean, have you ever looked around while shopping at one of the "Marts" in your area? It's like the cast of Men in Black at the Clearance isles..

More discussion on Above Top Secret..

Around Branson..

Three samples from Branson, Missouri. Darin's blog is the best around for local political perspective, bar none. This one's fun, this one's sad and needed, and this one's likely to get him in trouble..

Love him or not, Darin's got balls. Thanks, Darin.

If you're going to drink, just stay home, you f/n idiot..

SuperDelicious. That's one expensive bender! Be sure to click the photo to enlarge.

Thank Facebook for the SuperMajor Reconnection from the past!

From Fark. Who can't Facebook reunite?

Another Hi-Larious Criminal!

"Nobody likes you when you're 23.." Probably too amped up on adrenalin from the drive-by attempt to drive straight.. Or he's just stupid. Either/or..

Idiots or Liars?

You decide. These two are why we need a better educational system. Zombies don't necessarily have to be undead..

SuperDeluxe Hilarious Fail!

Thanks, Fark! Meth-heads are funny!

The logical end for liberal drug policies..

It's going horribly for the Netherlands, I see.. Happy freakin' Opposite Day! GD libruls (Or "Social Progressives") and their tendency to think of solutions, rather than to react by jailing everyone.. You know, if weed were legal, there'd be more people working, off the tax burden, paying taxes, and paying taxes on marijuana. But we couldn't have that, could we?

An honest mistake, I'm sure..

Should he recuse himself from any future tax discussions? Regarding his Senate aspirations: Sure he can win, but can he win outside Moralton? The link to the Seventh District won't work, for some reason, so here's the cut and paste..

Missouri's 7th congressional district consists of Southwest Missouri. The district includes
Springfield, the home of Missouri State University (formerly known as Southwest Missouri State University), and the popular tourist destination city of Branson. Located along the borders of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Northwest Arkansas, the district takes in a huge chunk of the Bible Belt, making it the most Republican district in the state with a strong socially conservative trend. George W. Bush defeated John Kerry 67% to 32% in Election 2004.
The district is currently represented by
Roy Blunt (R-Springfield) who will be vacating the seat in 2010 to seek the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Kit Bond.

Did we forget the Ultra Rich trend Republican? Big Chrysler dealers are Ultra Rich(250K or more), unlike the people who make Chryslers. Remember when the Republicans wanted the entire industry to die to spite the Unions? What was that, six months ago?

Oh yeah, here are the numbers. I'm a conspiracy buff, but this one seems so easy to disprove, unlike, say, the Nephilim..

Doomsday Approaches: Aqua makes a comeback

Good God; who told them it was all right to record more "music?" Just when I'd gotten that cartoony screeching hypno-tune out of my head.. Scroll down to the comments. It seems like their comeback will be a short-lived one..

It's 5 minutes to midnight..

But it feels a little closer than that.. Here's the Overview of the project, and here's the timeline. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't adjust forward sometime this summer or fall, what with all the insanity..

R.I.P. Jay Bennett

Jay Bennett, a seven-year member of mega-awesome band Wilco, passed away Sunday. Bennett's career floundered after leaving the band, and he never repeated his earlier success as a solo act. Bennett had been in declining health for a couple years, and the website Gawker wonders if a contributing factor to his death was his lack of health insurance. Within eight years, Bennett went from his creative apex (Wilco's 2001 album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot), to not being able to afford health insurance.

Jay Bennett, gone too soon at age 45..

AT&T Operator with a collect call from Sirius B. Will you accept the charges?

And then there are some interesting UFO sightings here.. and here. Article on first sighting here, and discussion of both here.

On a related subject, here's some new Planet X footage. Lots of detractors in the comments, but I've never seen a sunset like this..

Flu Update

Alternate title: The Daily Kos freaks out center left Democrats. Short answer: This isn't over.

"It begins Memorial Day"

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you a Conspiracy Theory Prediction that came true! Down to the hour! Read the thread. It's four pages long, at the moment, but check it out. After the initial prediction, things don't get good until the fourth post on page two when it becomes apparent as to what the poster was referring..

Official Sources here, here, and here. And, around this time, two earthquakes were recorded in North Korea(5.0 and 5.1), and one offshore near the Ryukyu Islands(4.9). And.. close to the same time, three magnitude 5+ quakes hit Greece(5.0). Bulgaria's capital Sofia(5.2), and Macedonia(5.4). Reference from Focus(Although their magnitude readings have been upgraded to 5.4 for the three events). Oh yeah, NK also successfully tested a short range missile, too.

I think the two or three Korea quakes were "artificial," and the Balkan quakes were real. I don't know if these events are connected, but if they are, what, and where are the missing pieces? I keep thinking the close proximity of all these occurances to be.. strange.
This could be an interesting week..

This site's owners must be overwhelmed with work..

Sad, I guess. I'm ambivalent towards the demise of malls. As an economic indicator, we'll be seeing Many, MANY more of these malls dying, very, very soon. I'm sad for the loss of jobs for the lower and middle class employees in the dead mall's surrounding areas that cripple their earning power and dead-shell remnants that blight their immediate environment. I'm sad for the waste of good resources that could have been useful somewhere else. I'm sorry for the sense of failure that hangs over a community when a local mall dies, a feeling of We didn't do enough or We should have shopped harder, or some other ridiculous notion felt by communities when their Center of Materialism fails.

What I don't feel bad about, what I won't miss, is the inevitable end of this Consume At Any Cost mentality that is eating away at our society like some runaway cancer. I won't miss this nationwide obsession for MORE (whatever MORE is) to the detriment of one's own immediate and long term financial security. I welcome an end to the fatal fallacy that buying more shit will plug the enormous, growing hole in one's heart caused by the baseline fallacy of materialism replacing love. I welcome an end to the smug, corporate arrogance of "If you build it; they will come," no matter how mediocre the concept, no matter how shoddy the construction, no matter how hollow the value.

The death of this smirking, greedy, orientation is actually the most welcome aspect of this, our increasingly dire nationwide situation. The money people, the corporatists, the planning and zoning committees, everyone involved from conceptualization to implementation, will now have to Think Harder about every project they undertake, rather than figuratively throwing shit against a wall to see what sticks. The eternal optimist in me hopes that malls of the future will be more Mixed Use, incorporating the needs of the community more directly into each project (Example: On site libraries and government/public facilities, housing within or nearby, integrated transportation hubs). Maybe some real thought will be put into each project, designing for the needs of the community 50 to 100 years into the future. Maybe some inroads can be made into countering this corrosive Bigger, Faster, Better, More! collective brainwash that chokes our common sense like some rampaging Anaconda snuffing the desire to "save," only allowing the concepts of "want," and "new" to survive.

As the situation is still not critical, a collective adjustment won't happen soon. But I feel that, despite the happy talkers on CNBC, the bottom is not in sight, and quite possibly, that we are on the far, outer ring, and the real downward spiral has not even begun. The future is unseen, more than a tad terrifying, but hopeful, nonetheless, as humanity has the capacity for optimistic, innovative reactions for even the worst of circumstances. That is my hope, as we enter this Zone of Unknown that is our upcoming Future..

Unsettling..

Again with the flu.. This isn't going away anytime soon. If you haven't already, stock up on herbs and supplements that prevent the cytokene storm associated with this strain of influenza. If this is a real pandemic unfolding, the window is closing and there won't be enough vaccine and there won't be any supplements around for those who wait. Do it now! And if it's a hoax or mutates in some benign direction, well you've got a whole new set of herbs to add to your daily routine!

David Lynch, Dangermouse, and Sparklehorse collaborate on Massively Awesome album no one will ever hear..

A Dream Project. Tons of amazing guest vocalists collaborating with two musicians at their creative apex. David Lynch(!) is in the mix. What could go wrong? "An ongoing legal dispute with EMI." Lynch's book of photos will be released, but the album of music might not ever be..

And corporations can't figure out why people despise them.

Please. Go. Away..

You people make my head hurt. Did anyone else think they were dooooomed two years ago? But why should I, or anyone else, care? If they weren't "famous," would anyone want to watch or be around a woman so thoroughly unpleasant or a man so thoroughly deflated and defeated?

Imagine waiting on this brood in a restaurant, or having to remodel their kitchen, sell them a car, or simply welcome them to Wal-Mart. Would your efforts be up to her standards? Doubtful. Would she tell you about it? Probably. He never had a chance. When the camera's off, I imagine he drives to remote places and cries..

Her very nature chaps my ass. She's like a pop-culture equivalent to Sarah Palin or Dick Cheney. Yeah, I dislike her that much.

"I'm sorry, Dave..

I'm afraid I can't do that.."
Call me a Luddite if you wish, but I wouldn't live here. Too much SkyNet and HGTV meets Brave New World, not enough Jetsons..

Today's lil' freakouts. And by "lil'," I mean big.

1. Pakistan - Nuclear weapons aren't SuperKeen in the hands of those so-called "responsible" countries that posess them, but when they fall into the hands of less desirable factions, it could get ugly.. Here's a little more hysterical and a little less credible analysis..
2. Flu - Don't get rid of those designer masks just yet..
3. 20 million Beatles fans realize they're minions of Satan..
4. Gliese 581e wants to know if we're happy with our long distance service..
5. "How high's the water, mama? Three feet high, and risin'.."

So you're a little freaked on Obama's choices regarding our economic course..

Another perspective on recent events. While the Economy is in chaos, the public's subjective indicator, The Voice of the Economy (Economists, Heads of Industry/The Plutocracy, Mega-Investors, The Media/Pundits) is a cacophony, too. How does one go about correcting the overwhelming, embedded, evil way of conducting business that is The System? How without a total shit rain of resistance from 1000 different sides from those entities with a HUGE vested interest in the status quo? Pure speculation, this is, or is it?

"I shall bend like a reed in the wind."
