'Sons of Anarchy' actor Johnny Lewis dies in bizarre double death

Almost at first glance, I've never liked this man.  I never knew why, it's always just been a visceral reaction.  Intuition confirmed:  Turns out not only was he a piece of shit, he was a murderous piece of shit.  You beat a cat and an old lady to death.  Good for you.  I bet that makes you a big man in Hell.  Enjoy your new found street cred, and eternal anal rapes by demons.  Yahoo:

Actor Johnny Lewis, who appeared on “Sons of Anarchy” and dated Katy Perry, was found dead in Los Angeles in what can only be described as a bizarre double death.


A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells Yahoo! that the bodies of 28-year-old Lewis and 81-year-old Catherine Davis were found at Davis’ Los Feliz home Wednesday at 10:40 a.m. when law enforcement arrived to investigate a 911 call about a woman screaming. Lewis, whose lifeless body was found in the driveway of the home, is the suspect in the elderly woman’s murder. He allegedly beat the woman to death, became involved in a scuffle with two men at a neighboring house (assaulting one of them), and then returned to Davis’ home, where he fell or jumped off the roof.

According to a report on TMZ, Lewis – who rented a room from Davis – was released from L.A. County Jail just five days before the double death. He had “several cases” filed against him and was recently in rehab, states the report. Further, TMZ says Lewis is also suspected of killing a cat in Davis’ home, which was ransacked.

(Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter) ..took to Twitter on Thursday to address Lewis’ death. “Not sure if folks know this yet, but johnny lewis (halfsack) died last night," he tweeted. "it was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way. i wish i could say that i was shocked by the events last night, but i was not. i am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path.”


I wonder what Sutter saw, and why he wasn't shocked by this turn of events.  Was he aware he was dealing with a psychopath?  Did anyone else see the warning signs of a future killer?  This whole episode is nauseating.

Jordanian Parliament member pulls gun on debate opponent

The "People are losing their damn minds" file keeps getting larger..  Also:  Jordan is supposedly one of the "stable" Middle Eastern countries.  Again, though, I don't think this phenomenon is connected to any one region, either..   The Raw Story (With video):

According to the Los Angeles Times, Mohammed Shawabka drew his weapon at former minister Mansour Murad Friday after Murad called him “a mafia thief” who “bought people’s votes.” The two men were taking part in a discussion Friday on a private satellite channel, Josat, regarding the uprising in Syria. Shawabka, who represents the town of Madaba, had accused Murad of being a spy for the Syrian government.


Despite repeated pleas to calm down by the host, identified by The Times of Israel as Mohammed Habashneh, Shawabka first threw his shoe at Murad before pulling his gun out and shoving Murad, though no shots were fired. The interviewer managed to get between both men.  (A true Moderator.  Very brave.)


The Jordan Times reports that the Syrian government has not issued a comment on Shawabka’s actions.

The crazy, it seems, is contagious. 

Zombie Apocalypse: Face-Eating In China (Pics)

Must the Chinese jump on every American fad?  Face eating is ours, damnit!  WebProNews.  Excerpts:


The newest “zombie” story to come out is from China, where a bus driver reportedly stopped his bus in traffic, blocking a woman’s car. He then got off the bus, climbed up on the hood of the woman’s car, and began beating at her windshield. When she got out of the car in a panic, he jumped on her and began chewing her face. Allegedly, several people tried to pull the man off, to no avail…although someone had the presence of mind to snap pictures as it was happening. Thank goodness for bystanders! Police eventually responded and took the man into custody.



The bus driver is said to have only been under the influence of alcohol during the attack (although why he was drunk and driving a bus is a question I hope is answered soon). The woman, who was only identified in the Chinese news story as Du (her surname), survived the attack but will undergo surgery to repair her nose and mouth.



Why are people losing their minds in such a spectacular manner?  Are we in the very preliminary stages of some form of global mass hysteria?  Are these isolated incidents signalling a much larger, coming phenomenon?  Is there a combination of factors, or one unifying circumstance overriding peaceful decorum, inciting these violent outbursts?  Still no answers, just more questions..
