Sakurajima erupted

Short and sweet post from Fukushima Diary, and non-nuclear, to boot!  The pictures are worth the click.  Sakurajima's activity is not out of the ordinary, as they had 996 eruptions last year (Averaging almost three a day..).  Scientists are concerned, though, that further crustal deformations might facillitate more serious eruptions.  No event timeline predictions were included.
